On November 5, 2025, the International Paper Award 2025 will be presented. This year’s awardees are Douwe van Schie and Dr. Frankline Ndi from the Development Geography research group. Both will introduce their research in short presentations.

At the subsequent Science Pitch, all GIUB doctoral students and postdocs are invited to present their current research work. It does not matter what stage the work is at - whether it is an ongoing project, initial results or final results - as long as the presentation is short and concise. The aim is to provide an overview of the spectrum of current research in a very compact form and to encourage networking. The presentations (3 minutes) can be given in German or English.

After the award ceremony and the pitches there will be a reception with lunch snacks (Roter Saal).
