DESCRIPTION:On October 28\, 2026 the International Paper Award 2026 will b
e presented. This year’s awardees will introduce their research in short
presentations. \n\nAt the subsequent Science Pitch\, all GIUB doctoral st
udents and postdocs are invited to present their current research work. It
does not matter what stage the work is at - whether it is an ongoing proj
ect\, initial results or final results - as long as the presentation is sh
ort and concise. The aim is to provide an overview of the spectrum of curr
ent research in a very compact form and to encourage networking. The prese
ntations (3 minutes) can be given in German or English.\n\nAfter the award
ceremony and the pitches there will be a reception with lunch snacks (Gel
 ber Saal).
