DESCRIPTION:On November 5\, 2025\, the International Paper Award 2025 will
  be presented. This year’s awardees are Douwe van Schie and Dr. Franklin
 e Ndi from the Development Geography research group. Both will introduce t
 heir research in short presentations. \n\nAt the subsequent Science Pitch\
 , all GIUB doctoral students and postdocs are invited to present their cur
 rent research work. It does not matter what stage the work is at - whether
  it is an ongoing project\, initial results or final results - as long as 
 the presentation is short and concise. The aim is to provide an overview o
 f the spectrum of current research in a very compact form and to encourage
  networking. The presentations (3 minutes) can be given in German or Engli
 sh.\n\nAfter the award ceremony and the pitches there will be a reception 
 with lunch snacks (Roter Saal).
