Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt

The University of Klagenfurt (also known as Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt – AAU) was founded in 1970 and is organized into four faculties: Cultural Studies, Management and Economics (including Geography), Technical Sciences, and Interdisciplinary Research and Continuing Education. The university also maintains additional campuses in Vienna and Graz. As the largest educational and research institution in the federal state of Carinthia, AAU has around 10,000 students, 20 percent of whom come from abroad.
