Geomorphica Editorial published Geomorphica Editorial published

Geomorphica reached a new important milestone: in an community effort, they published their first editorial. Melanie Stammler, member of the research group and steering comittee member of Geomorphica co-authored the publication.

Geomorphica is a Diamond Open Access Journal in the field of Geomorphology. Diamond Open Access means, that scientific articles are published open access without involving article processing charges in the publication process. Geomorphica is run by an international, diverse group of volunteers, hosted by Penn State University Libraries and supported by the IAG. The editorial details background on Diamond Open Access, sheds light on how Geomorphica formed over the last 4+ years and showcases the progress and challenges that Geomorphica is achieving and facing.
