Information events for first-semester students

We extend a warm welcome to our first-semester students at the Department of Geography in October and put on an information event, which is often subdivided by degree program. The programs for the german degree programs are available on here.

Here you will find an overview of the planned information events of the Georisk Master.

Registration

Examinations forming part of Geography bachelor’s and master’s degree programs are held alongside your studies in accordance with the relevant examination regulations. This means that you will need to submit your application for admission to the bachelor’s or master’s examination (“registration”) as early as your first program-related semester.

For the B.Sc. Geographie and M.Sc. Geographie examination registration please see here.

Once you have completed the form, please post the first page together with the necessary enclosures (certificate of enrollment showing number of semesters completed plus, for bachelor’s students, a photograph) in the mailbox in front of the Examination Office of Geography or mail it to us.

You will need to be registered in order to sign up for examinations in BASIS.

This applies to all geography students, including bachelor’s students taking geography as a minor and students who have transferred from another degree program or university.

Exception: registration for students on teaching degrees take place in the BZL (Bonner Zentrum für Lehrerbildung, Poppelsdorfer Allee 15).
