The University of Lisbon (Portuguese: Universidade de Lisboa, also known as Universidade Clássica de Lisboa) is one of the largest universities in Portugal, with more than 45,000 students across 8 faculties. Approximately 3,000 regular students come from abroad, and more than 1,500 students participate in ERASMUS exchanges at the university each year, staying for one or two semesters.
