Places have much to do with who we are. They shape our childhood, our ways of thinking, feeling, and acting. Memories of places provide a sense of stability and evoke longing.

The students of the advanced art course at Tannenbusch-Gymnasium (a partner school of the Department of Geography) have engaged artistically with “their places” and will present their works from 5 February to 5 March 2026 at the Büdchen of the Department of Geography.
