Researchers from the RG Schrott visited the General Assembly of the European Geoscience Union 2023 in Vienna to present their current research.
The research group team "rolling stones" successfully won second place at the institutes Kubb tournament on Wednesday! After competing against various teams such as the research group of social geography, the student council and others, our team was finally beaten in the final by the "earth watchers" from the research group of Malenovský. Congratulations to them! We are looking forward to try again next year.

Prof. Schrott wrote together with Jan-Erik Steinkrüger a chapter on natural hazards and risks in the german textbook "Angewandte Geographie - Arbeitsfelder, Tätigkeiten und Methoden in der geographischen Berufspraxis". The textbook was published by utb. (textbooks for studying and teaching) in 2023, with Maike Dziomba, Christian Krajewski and Claus-Christian Wiegandt as editors.
