Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz
The University of Graz (also known as Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz, KFU Graz) was founded in 1585 and is the second-oldest university in Austria after the University of Vienna. Today, it comprises six faculties. Within the Faculty of Natural Sciences, it maintains close cooperation with Graz University of Technology. Of the approximately 33,000 students currently enrolled, about 15 percent come from abroad.
