Université de Paris-Sorbonne (Paris IV)

Today, the University of Paris-Sorbonne (Paris IV) is one of thirteen universities in Paris that emerged from the historic University of Paris (founded in the 13th century) following decentralization reforms in 1970. Its academic focus lies in the fields of literature, the humanities, and the social sciences. In total, nearly 24,000 students are enrolled at the University of Paris-Sorbonne.
