The University of South-Eastern Norway (USN; Norwegian: Universitetet i Sørøst-Norge) was established between 2014 and 2016 through the merger of three former university colleges and now operates across eight campuses. Its more than 18,000 students and nearly 2,000 staff members are distributed across four faculties: the Faculty of Humanities, Sports and Educational Science; the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences; the Faculty of Technology, Natural Sciences and Maritime Sciences; and the School of Business. By student numbers, USN ranks among the largest higher education institutions in Norway.
