Research group Prof. Klaus - Hydrology

The group’s research addresses processes in the critical zone and landscape function, with a particular focus on hydrological processes, models and Ecohydrology. The methodological toolbox involves numerical modelling, remote sensing, and isotope approaches.

Our research and teaching is geared towards providing a deeper geographic understanding that allow a science-based management of water resources and landscapes and thus contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
