The University of Salzburg, with nearly 15,000 students and 2,700 staff in research, teaching, and administration, is the largest educational institution in the Salzburg region. Originally founded in 1622, it was dissolved in 1810 and re-established in 1962. Today, it offers a wide range of academic programs and plays a leading role in promoting values such as inclusion and environmental protection.
