Eötvös Loránd University

Eötvös Loránd University Budapest (ELTE), founded in 1635, is the oldest institution of its kind in Hungary. According to various rankings, it is considered one of the top ten universities in Eastern Europe. With more than 24,000 students enrolled across eight faculties, ELTE continues to strengthen its international profile by expanding its course offerings in foreign languages. As a result, over 2,000 international students are currently studying at the university.
