Cartography & Media Design
The visualization of geography-related content is the focus of this central unit’s activities. Its scope of work includes, among other things, the creation of maps, graphics, and illustrations for scholarly publications and projects, as well as for the institute’s website and social media channels. Digital photography provides material for public relations efforts and contributes to documenting the institute’s history. Managing digital assets in a media database ensures the efficient use of the extensive data collection.
