Research
I research the role that Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) systems play within climate and development funds and how their integration influence concrete adaptation results. I am particularly interested in untangling the notions of fairness and effectiveness from a decolonial climate justice perspective in MEL systems. I previously worked on structures to enable Loss and Damage finance to reach the local level, and on assessing the effectiveness of adaptation interventions by multilateral climate funds.
