Dr. Christiane Stephan, a post-doc researcher and former member of the Development Geography working group, presents her research. Her focus lies on the future of East Africa, especially Kenya. She analyses how futures are made possible and how they are marginalized. Following these questions, she looks on the expressions of power relations in temporal and spatial relations. In this video, she mainly discusses the research methods, shows why the research is important and gives anecdotes from the practice.
