In this lecture, Dr. Yonatan N. Gez talks about the afterlives of development interventions and the phenomenological directions. He takes a look beyond the time frame of development interventions, the funding cycles and its formal objectives.
His research focus lies on religion and international development, religion and society in East Africa, self-accomplishment in East Africa, theorizing religious mobility, the 'afterlives' of development projects in Sub-Saharan Africa, and the internationalization of private education.
