An introduction to the work of the Collaborative Research Center. The processes and approaches of research are discussed with a variety of involved people. Prof. Michael Hoch, rector of the University of Bonn, former secretary-general of the United Nations Kofi Annan and Prof. Müller-Mahn, spokesperson of the CRC, are only a few people who are explaining the importance of the future in Africa and what challenges they are facing in their work.
