On the 23rd of November 2023 from 13:00 – 17:00 CET we will have our final PARADeS conference (online). The conference is on “Managing Flood Disaster Risk in Ghana- Findings, Products, and Recommendations”
The PARADeS consortium traveled to Ghana from 17th to 26th April aiming to carry out the planned workshop on the training of stakeholders, visit the installation of community water level gauges, and meet with the representative of the University of Ghana-MIASA and the University of Cape Coast.
PARADeS – Workshop „FLOODLABEL Expert Training“ in Accra, Ghana 07. & 08. November 2022
The annual German consortium meeting for the fourth quarter of 2022 took place at the University of Applied Sciences, Magdeburg, from 4th to 5th October.
From 27.06. to 1.07.22, a 16-member delegation visited the Geographical Institute of the University of Bonn (GIUB) as part of the BMBF PARADeS project.
The German consortium partners' physical meeting/workshop on the PARADeS project took place in Bonn, at the Department of Geography, University of Bonn, from 8th to 9th November 2021.
The end-year PARADeS consortium meeting took place on 16th December 2021. The purpose of the meeting was to present and discuss with the consortium especially to our Ghanaian partners the plans and feasibility in undertaking the main project activities for the 1st quarter of 2022.
On the 12th of January 2022, the project milestones of the 1st half (18th Month) was presented by the consortium to the project funder BMBF represented by VDI.
