PARADeS – Workshop „FLOODLABEL Expert Training“ in Accra, Ghana 07. & 08. November 2022

The annual German consortium meeting for the fourth quarter of 2022 took place at the University of Applied Sciences, Magdeburg, from 4th to 5th October.

From 27.06. to 1.07.22, a 16-member delegation visited the Geographical Institute of the University of Bonn (GIUB) as part of the BMBF PARADeS project.

Our first major activities and stakeholder engagement for the year took us to Ghana in May 2022. In May 2022, participatory stakeholder workshops and field activities were conducted with a particular focus on “Flood disaster risk management in Ghana‘s flood hot spots: co-development of adaptation scenarios and policies”.

On the 12th of January 2022, the project milestones of the 1st half (18th Month) was presented by the consortium to the project funder BMBF represented by VDI.

The end-year PARADeS consortium meeting took place on 16th December 2021. The purpose of the meeting was to present and discuss with the consortium especially to our Ghanaian partners the plans and feasibility in undertaking the main project activities for the 1st quarter of 2022.
