The Geographical Society of Bonn
Objectives
A major objective of the Geographical Society of Bonn (founded as the "Society for Geography and Ethnology" in 1910) presents research in geography and ethnology to the public in general terms.
Program
Each year, between seven and nine presentations are given by expert scientists on general and regional geographical as well as ethnological topics. The society also organizes field trips for guests and members and provides information on the activities of other geographical societies in Germany.
