DESCRIPTION:The Sustainability Working Group at the Department of Geograph
 y invites you to an event that will explore ways of making the excursions 
 of our geography programs more sustainable.\nProf. Dr. Anette Scheersoi\, 
 Vice Rector for Sustainability at the University of Bonn\, will open the e
 vent with a keynote on “Sustainability in Teaching”. Afterwards\, the 
 dimensions of environmental\, economic and social sustainability in relati
 on to the planning and implementation of excursions will be examined in a 
 World Café. The results of the three thematic tables will be discussed in
  the final plenary session and summarized in a synthesis. This will form t
 he basis for a “Suggestion paper for sustainable excursions” at the GI
 UB.\nThe Sustainability Working Group invites all GIUB members and student
 s to actively participate in this discussion!
