Student Council

The Student Council is an active part of the Department of Geography and represents our students' needs and interests. It is run by students for students and is concerned with a variety of questions of the department's internal policy. At the same time, the Student Council is responsible for the yearly fresher's program and supports new students in transitioning to university life as easily as possible. Offers such as lecture nights, the coffee shop located in the basement of the department or the legendary geo-parties are just a few examples of what the Student Council does to ensure that students enjoy everyday life at the department.

The Student Council is open to everyone. Whether you want to get involved or just want to get an impression of what we do, join us in one of our sessions and check us out! It doesn't matter how much time you have to invest, we are thankful for any help we can get and any fresh idea that might come up.
