The Geographical Society of Bonn
Goals
A main goal of the Geographical Society of Bonn (founded as the "Society for Geography and Ethnology" in 1910) is to present research in Geography and Ethnology to the public in layman's terms.
Program
Each year, between seven and nine presentations are given on general and regional geographical, as well as ethnological, topics. These presentations are given by expert scientists. The society also organizes field trips for guests and members and provides information on the activities of other geographical societies in Germany.
