LunchLecture - Domestication of indegenous trees

Prof. Felister Mombo of the Sokoine University in Tanzania researches on the role of indegenious trees compared to exotic species from Germany from colonial times. Different projects concern themselves with the domestication of Anisophylla boehmii and the affect on the community that comes from participation and involvment through participatory research in planting programs, protection and tree sustainability due to familiarity of the species in their origin occurrences.
