DESCRIPTION:“Intercultural Competence”\n\nWhat does it take to achieve
  intercultural competence? Where do I stand when it comes to bias awarenes
 s? In this workshop\, we will focus on reflection and self-awareness of ou
 r own intercultural competence and how to deal with cognitive biases. We w
 ill look at various models and theories and use examples\, practical exerc
 ises and experiments to examine the extent to which these apply to the ind
 ividual and what options for action are available. Together we will develo
 p strategies to expand our own intercultural competence and deepen our awa
 reness of our own biases.\n\nNo prior knowledge is required for participat
 ion.\n\nStudents completing the seminar are credited 20 points toward the 
 D1 component for the Certificate of Intercultural Competency.\n\nRegistrat
