Herbert's PhD research will focus on the direct use of geothermal energy and green industrialization in Kenya and neighboring East African countries. He holds a Master of Energy Economics and Governance and a B.A. in Economics, both obtained from Makerere University in Kampala. He brings to the C02 team a wealth of hands-on research, development experience and understanding of the East African region.
